Alalá 2019

The serious 2019 Alalá is released with some time in bottle, and it's a textbook example of aged Albariño from Salnés with a marine, slaty and mineral note and the seriousness of the good examples of wines from the zone. It has ripeness, development of aromas and flavors and balancing acidity, coming through as fresh and young, younger than some of the 2020s I also tasted here. It was bottled in August 2020 but was not released until at least 18 months later. 4,266 bottles produced.
