Stunning stuff from a 0.3-hectare sector of La Rad in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, this is a classic, old-vine Garnacha made in a semi carbonic maceration style. Elegant, nuanced and ethereal, it has rose petal and strawberry leaf aromas, graceful, polished tannins and succulent pomegranate and red cherry fruit. Almost Pinot Noir like. 2024-30

A floral example of garnacha with rose petals, red cherries, Mediterranean herbs and a touch of citrus. The palate is medium- to full-bodied with restrained red currant flavors, polished tannins and a long, elegant finish. This is made from a tiny 0.3-hectare plot of pure garnacha on clay limestone soil in the La Rad lieu-dit in San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Drink now or hold.
