Langhe Nebbiolo Baluma 2022

Bright ruby red in color but fully transparent, the 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo Baluma is snappy with aromas of ripe cranberries, fresh flowers, wet stones, and spice. Medium-bodied, it has a soft mineral texture, fine tannins, and a snappy lift without being austere. It is clean and fresh, with great lift and energy without sacrificing ripeness, and offers fantastic mineral accents through a rather long finish for an “entry” Nebbiolo. It’s approachable and perfect for drinking over the next few years, but I love this for drinking now. Serve it with a light chill.
