The Wine Advocate:

The 2021 Phinca Hapa Tinto was produced with a blend of Tempranillo and 15% Graciano from a single vineyard in the village of Elvillar that was planted in 1967 at 640 meters above sea level. It spent 12 months in 500-liter barrels and seven months in a large foudre. It's ripe at 14.2% alcohol and has a pH of 3.55 and 5.92 grams of acidity. It has notes of dry herbs and esparto grass and is Mediterranean and aromatic, with a touch of leather and licorice, fountain pen ink and wet fur. It has a medium to full-bodied palate and abundant, slightly earthy and dusty tannins. It needs food. 7,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2023. (Luis Gutiérrez).
