Primus Quinta da Pellada 2022

The 2022 Primus is still very closed and ungiving. But it has very good complexity—it's clear to see the difference of complexity between this and the pure Encruzado Estágio Prolongado. But it's not only the nose; it's also the depth in the palate, the sense of harmony, nuance and balance. They picked all the grapes together and quite early because of the warm and dry year; but the extreme warmth resulted in death of yeasts and low malic acid, so some fermentations were difficult.
