Quinta de Pancas Arinto Reserva 2017

The 2017 Arinto Reserva was aged for 10 months in used French oak and comes in at 13.5% alcohol. Textured and elegant, this graceful Arinto shows good concentration, finesse and fine balance. It is somewhat understated, but it handles itself perfectly, easy to drink with food or on its own. It should hold well for most of this decade. This runs around 14 euros in Portugal.

Deliciously wood aged, the wine has touches of toast while leaving plenty of fruitiness. It is rich, balancing acidity and a ripeness in equal measure. This very fine wine is now ready to drink.
