Versos de Valtuille El Rapolao 2022

The 2022 Versos de Valtuille El Rapolao fermented in plastic bins and matured in 500-liter barrels for one year. The cru always delivers a darker wine, and this has black berry fruit, an earthy touch and good volume on the palate (there's some clay there). It's a single-vineyard red from one of the coolest places in the village. It has contained ripeness and alcohol (13.5%), but it's riper than the previous vintage. 1,150 bottles were filled in February 2024.
