One of the most appealing all-rounders in the NV stakes, this has plenty of toasty warmth on the nose with grilled berries and peaches, as well as citrus and gentle woody spices. The palate delivers bold citrus flavors, with light berry notes to finish. Drink now.
Veuve's 'yellow label' non-vintage Champagne is perhaps the region's most recognisable. It's a blend of around 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier, from up to 60 different crus. The doughy base shows a hint of creaminess, layered with light and fresh flavours of lemon, orange peel, razor-sharp green apples and a steely, mineral finish. Quintessential Champagne and a great aperitif thanks to it's light-footed style.
Nel 1772, Philippe Clicquot fondò l'azienda vinicola Clicquot. Quindici anni dopo, suo figlio François, che già dirigeva l'azienda di famiglia, sposò Barbe Nicole Ponsardin.
