"As with many other wineries, there is a new bottling of Barquero's NV Fino Gran Barquero en Rama, marked Saca de Primavera 2017, bottled in the spring of 2017. This is intense and very powerful, pushing the limits of flor aging to the limit. This reached 15% alcohol without being fortified and matured in a solera system for an average of eight to ten years, which sharpened the palate and provided pungent aromas reminiscent of brine, esparto grass, sea breeze and nuts. This is a full-bodied, powerful Fino from Montilla. 1,000 500-milliliter bottles produced." Luis Gutiérrez.
